UPL introduced SUPERFORM for Specialty Growth. 

In May 2025, UPL announced the launch of SUPERFORM, its new specialty chemistry business. The company was previously known as UPL Specialty Chemicals Limited and has now been introduced with a new name and identity. SUPERFORM will operate as a separate business within the UPL Group as per the published report. 

Moreover, the company explained that SUPERFORM has been established to focus on innovation and the development of high-value chemical solutions. It will use its technical knowledge and manufacturing experience to provide products for customers across different markets. 

According to Towards Chem and Materials, the global specialty chemicals market size was valued at USD 955.9 billion in 2025, is estimated to reach USD 1,703.8 billion in 2026, and is projected to reach USD 1,703.8 billion by 2035, exhibiting a compound annual growth rate (CAGR) of 5.95% over the forecast period from 2026 to 2035., due to a greater presence of personalized and tailored chemical solutions in wide industry applications nowadays.

Furthermore, SUPERFORM also plans to make use of its manufacturing facilities, advanced production technologies, and global sourcing network to support its operations. The company stated that it has expertise in different chemical reaction technologies, allowing it to develop a wide variety of specialty products. At the same time, it will continue to follow responsible manufacturing practices and work on solutions that support more sustainable chemical production. 

Also, according to UPL, India is expected to play a bigger role in the global specialty chemicals industry in the coming years. The company believes growing domestic demand, changing international supply chains, and increasing interest in specialty products will create new opportunities for growth.
